In the same way words can be classified by their intensity and can even be more intensified by the context and how they are said.The simplest of word can affect a person both positively and negatively. If words are meaningless, then why do people say nice things to one another? Why do congratulate others when they make an achievement or try to uplift someone when they are down? Then is it say not to speak at all. I have been told many times, “If you do not have nothing good to say, then don’t say anything at all.” What could this mean if words are wind, meaningless? If words are meaningless, then why are kidsaffected by bullying? They either go in a state of depression or commit suicide. Words do hurt and they do bring joy. A simple, “I love you” can bring joy or disdain. It depends on who is saying and who is on the receiving end. Words are not wind, but words affect a person depending on that individual’s temperament. Overtime, you have learned different strategies to manoeuvre the oncoming wind. You walk away, simply ignore the wind or you can harness the wind into something magnificent like electricity.
